Historic Sites Owned & Operated by CHI

Concordia Historical Institute preserves two historic sites in Perry County, Missouri.

  1. "Hill of Peace" Lutheran Church in Friedenberg and
  2. the Saxon Lutheran Memorial in Frohna.

Contact information, directions, and maps for each site are given at the bottom of the respective pages.

Support for the Hill of Peace and the Saxon Lutheran Memorial comes through donations from visitors, the offering at the Homecoming Services, and a desiganted portion of the CHI budget. Further development and interpretation of these sites depends on the increased support of visitors and friends. Your contributions will be most welcome!

Maps to each of the areas are available on their respective pages. A general map of Perry County is available.
